About LogicAppGuide
An independent editorial directory of brain-training & logic apps for Android
Our Mission
LogicAppGuide is an independent editorial directory for a single, specific corner of the Android app store: brain-training, logic, puzzle and education apps. Our catalogue stays broad, while editor-reviewed apps receive deeper LogicAppGuide notes and appear first in discovery areas. Every app page links readers directly to the official Google Play Store listing. We are not affiliated with Google or with the developers of the apps we cover.
We do not host app installation files. We do not mirror, repackage or sideload anything. The only place to install an app featured on LogicAppGuide is the official Google Play Store page that opens when you tap through — the same listing the developer publishes and maintains.
Editorial Standards
Apps selected for LogicAppGuide editorial review have to clear three filters before they enter the public review set.
- On-topic. The app has to meaningfully fit within logic, puzzle, brain-training, strategy, word, board, trivia, education, productivity, or quality tool apps. Generic content feeds don't qualify.
- Real audience signal. We look for at least several hundred user ratings on Google Play and a rating consistent enough to treat seriously — not the first wave of fake reviews on a brand-new listing.
- Actively maintained. We weight recent Google Play updates and a clear developer of record. Abandoned projects rarely make the cut.
- Editor-vetted. Each public review page needs a specific, app-level reason for inclusion — never a category blurb pasted across dozens of pages.
Advertising on LogicAppGuide is handled through Google AdSense. Publishers cannot pay to be featured, cannot pay to improve their position, and do not see or approve what we write about their app before it goes live.
What You Get on LogicAppGuide
- Editorial reviews on selected apps covering fit, caveats, monetisation checks and who the app is really for.
- Transparent public metadata from Google Play: star rating, number of ratings, install tier, last update date and developer name.
- App-specific analysis paragraphs on reviewed pages explaining why the pick belongs here and what a reader should verify before installing.
- A "Similar Logic Apps" row that links to related apps inside the LogicAppGuide directory.
- A single, clear call-to-action that opens the official Google Play Store listing. That's the only installable endpoint we ever link to.
